The WB8YXD Amateur Radio Repeater is located in Miami
Township, Montgomery County, Ohio.
The Repeater is on 443.725 MHz, plus offset and is open
access.
The repeater is running 25 watts into a 6 dB gain vertical
antenna at a height of 30 feet at the base of the antenna.
The repeater is located on the floor of a valley.
Since my elevation is quite low compared to the surrounding
ares, the machine has a pretty low profile. The antenna
base sits at 763 feet above sea level and the valley rises to
around 1200 feet. rather quickly to the south and east of the
repeater and more gradually to the west and north.
